Prior to Post he was an associate at the law firm Latham & Watkins LLP where he worked in the Finance Department in New York and Los Angeles, focusing on bankruptcies and restructurings. Mr. Leavitt received a bachelor's degree from Tufts University and a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone scholar.
